A Frosh Week Magazine Strategy

Since I spent a year serving in the UK with CCC I have been heavily influenced by the way they are attempting to reach students.

Based on a few significant teaching times with staff from New Zealand, Student Life UK launched a Frosh Week Strategy last Autumn in an attempt to create presence on their campuses as introduce people to Jesus.  They used the concept of creating a moral dilemma to get things rolling: Goat Vs. Ipod. It was a ‘draw’ based strategy that had first year students fill out a ballot requesting more information on how to ‘Connect’ and they could indicate if they would like a magazine delivered to them IN PERSON addressing their specific request (relationships, food, money, God).  Here is what the magazine looks like.

life@large revised

CruPress has revised the tool Life@Large for which I am thankful. The idea is to have a tool that explains the context of the gospel and give people the opportunity to dialogue around issues of brokenness.  The new tool is cleverly titled Backstory

What about taking this new outline with its themes and develop a short film?
